Probably a habit he had a child and never outgrew. You'd think that would be something they would at least do in private. I have to get onto my young son about that too.I think it mostly starts when their nose is stuffed and they see it as a way to get off the dried boogies and breath better. It's mostly a kid thing.

Well we must all admit, Golden Treasures (A.K.A. "Nose Nuggets") are a VERY tasty treat, and can really fill the void that hunger leaves for most of us..The crunchier the better, is what I bet your grandad would say!

How bad it is to have a granddad like yours. It makes me vomit if I see him doing it . I would ask him not to do it in front of me . And if he doesn't listen to me and change his bad habit I would shout at him whenver I see it.
