You are very right in saying that every1 has different affects. When you start your period, the blood smells kinda funky, yes, but as long as you change pads regularly, then no1, not even you can tell the difference. No, your stomach shouldn't hurt when you start your period. But, every girl gets cramps at her own time. I was lucky, when I first started my period, I didn't get any cramps @ all, but I was still phcyed out. Don't be scared even if u do get cramps. That just means that you are going to be more experienced, and you will know how to treat it better than other girls your age. If you do experience cramps, take a hot shower or bath. Believe it or not, water stops the blood, so you get an hour long break. If that doesn't help, take advil, or use a heat pad. You'll get used to your pad eventually, so so dont worry when its not comfprtable at first. I hope this helps you chica! Its always nice to know a little b4 u start, isnt it?

To me mine stinks, but that is because I am self conscious about being on my period. I have smelt others while they were on and boy did they stink. That only happens if you don't shower regulary and change pads/tampons regularly. If it tends to smell real bad like a dead animal or something of that sort, you may have developed some type of infection(usually yeast due to the extra moisture). Keep on top of your hygiene when you do start and you shouldn't have too much of a problem with odor.
Also you can use feminine deoderant spray if you think you smell.

You shouldn't smell the blood, but it also shouldn't stink. A lot of girls get pains some don't. I get severe pains and they are also in my lower back and sometimes in the top of my stomach rather than the bottom of my stomach. My mother and cousins on the other hand, don't feel pains. It's really nothing to worry about. If you're worried about smell then you can buy scented pads or odor absorbing pads.

Yes it does, most women experience severe pain during their periods. Many take a pain killer for it, like spasmoproxyvon. Would be better if you consult your physician or gynaecologist.
The stink depends on every person's body consitution and hygene habits. Make sure you always stay clean and change your pad at regular intervals. Take care!

Everyone is different so some people will get cramps and such. You will personally have to wait and see when you get yours what will happen. I recommend Midol if you get cramps. Also, your first period's symptoms might be different from the rest. I know for mine, the first time did not hurt, but the rest I get cramps. Talk to your mom or someone that has it to find out the best things you can do for yourself when you get it.

Yes your stomach will hurt, and it is normal for blood on the pad smelling bad. I would suggest tampons so you don't have to worry about a bad smelling pad. Good luck!

Depends on what you have, if the blood does smell you can always get scented but i use tampons and pads at night. I never get cramps, but use a facial mask one week before so it'll reduce acne.

It smells different...there are sprays you can buy to control it...it's mainly because moisture is being trapped in a tight spot for hours....and yeah, your stomach can cramp....that's just your body trying to push everything out....they make midol for that
