I need a to find a website with statistics on how many people with HIV or AIDS are homosexual. Please help....for a speech against gay marriage!!!

To all of you "obviously lost" people - first off, stop judging and assuming what exactly I'm talking about in my report. First and foremost, I think it's wrong....even if it's 2006 and the world's morals have gone to hell in a handbasket. I'm not dumb (probably smarter than you) and I know that you can't prevent aids in a gay marriage. My basis for using statistics of aids in it is support of why homosexuality is wrong (etc. etc., this goes deeper and yes it's religous) and it should not be publicly condoned by allowing them to marry. For all you liberals out there who think we should fight for peace, stop the death penalty and allow queers to marry and adopt and corrupt the youth of America, you seriously need to get it together and use common sense and wake up and see what's happening!

Your premise that AIDS is spread by the gay community will not hold water on the issue of gay marriage. Having worked in the AIDS community, the majority of cases are now spread through heterosexual contact. Visit either the CDC or World Health Organization's websites and you will find no statistics that will support your view. Let the Bill Gate's Foundation handle the issue of AIDS now that Buffett has contributed to the funding. Neither of those two men are gay, so why would they be involved in AIDS research? Or do you think they both might be gay and wanting a way to get married? Wake up.

This has to be the stupidest question I have seen today, and I have seen some loo-loos. What on earth does a homosexual having AIDS have anything to do with them getting married??? They aren't going to have sex if they aren't married? Are some Christians and prejudice people actually stupid enough to think that not allowing homosexuals to marry is somehow going to stop AIDS? Do people actually live in that kind of fairy tale? I think if you are going to make a case against homosexuals marrying, your first concern should be actually having sense of logic.

Of those with AIDS in 2004, 17,691 were from homosexual contact, 41% of all cases, while there were 13,128 from heterosexual contact, 30.9% of all cases. However, these statistics won't help your argument. Gay marriage has nothing to do with AIDS and will not further its spread. There's no way you could imagine monogomy helping spread an STD...

Oh, so what is your theory, that gay couples would infect their children with AIDS?
I don't understand how people can be so obsessed with meddling in other peoples lives. You should concentrate on improving yourself, rather than focusing your energy on criticizing others. And if you want to be useful, do some work for a charity organization that supports children who've been brought into this world by irresponsible/ immature/ uneducated/ violent/drug addicted heterosexual parents.
