Neither one!!!

For most of my life I have chosen not to compete, I do my own thing and I do it very well, and I've been extremely successful in that. I do not intentionally hinder anyone else at any time for any reason!

"Life" is not a competition! And as soon as more and more people start becoming aware of that and stop being sucked into all the traditional BS of our cultures around the world the better off they'll be as well as the world itself.

Competition for the sake of competition is just Sports.
Economic competition is the fuel of Capitalism.
Acting to hinder others is an anti-human methodology.
So the answer is: compete, don't hinder.

I would compete cause it would be the thrill of the competition to win out right instead of hindering others to fall when if you are truly there to compete then why mess with other peoples mind and stop them from doing their best when that's the whole reason for competing

We are in competition with others one way or the other. Your behavior only determines how well you succeed. Hindering others, while it may reduce their chances to succeed, will not of itself guarantee your success. Getting an adequate education and making practical decisions based upon good information and planning is an essential step towards achieving success.

I neither compete or hinder.

I am one of those true rebels who march to the beat of my own drum.

I don't have to compete because I am everything I need.

I don't have to hinder because I am not in the race.
