What an interesting question. What made you think of it? Because I have often felt my own name doesn't "fit" me. Do you feel that way, too? I love the person I was named after, and love my Mom and Dad for wanting to honor her - yet I am uncomfortable with my name. But I haven't yet thought of the one "right" name. I like names that are ambiguous, that don't say whether you are male or female - Jessie (Jessica), Sam (Samantha), Joey (Josephine?). But I also like Biblical names - Judith, Esther, Naomi. Maybe one day I'll hit on "my" name.

My cats are Ruby and Jemima, I love both those names and as I am unlikely to have a daughter then I thought I would use my names on them.

If I could choose any other names I guess it would be Emily or Camilla.
