No one should have ever believed we were attacke on 9/11 by Iraq. First off, a country can't attack another country -- only people can attack other people. Next, there has been blame placed on some many countries for 9/11 when in reality 9/11's attack was sparked by a small organization. People want to find bigger things to blame though, for example Afghanistan was the first target. The government never acknowledged that the Taliban in Afghanistan were trained and armed by the US in the 80's when we helped them fight for their independence against the Soviet Union.
Now it's Iraq that we're trying to "liberate" which has nothing at all to do with the attacks on the Towers. We were told there were weapons of mass destruction and we all know how that turned out. This war is all personally motivated with high-powered, rich, white men who want control and to "clean up" situations that weren't "completed" in the past. Sadly, there are still people in the country who blindly follow our leaders without questioning and that leads to a very sheep-like mentality in this country. Of course, polls were showing (I'm sure they still are but I haven't heard anything since before the immigration issue came up) that the country is displeased with the war, the leadership, and the sneaky, underhanded manipulation that is going on.

Who ever believed that? Who ever even said that? That's just silly. They never had anything to do with each other.
al Qaeda perpetrated 9/11. Iraq had ties to al Qaeda, including the financing, arming, and training of some of them. But nothing that connects Iraq to 9/11 specifically.
Which is what the President and his supporters have been saying all along. They never said Iraq was tied to 9/11. That was just a leftist strawman lie they threw out there to malign Bush and his supporters.

No one ever said Iraq attacked us on 9-11. Although, Sadam was sponsoring and financing terrorism all over the world, and I'm sure some of that money found it's way to Al Qaeda.
George Bush nor anyone else ever said Iraq attacked us on 9-11.

If anyone believes that Iraq attacked us on 9-11 they're idiots.
In the 9-11 commission reports it states that Afganistan and the Al Quida were responsible for it.
Now why 30 members of the Bin Laden family were flown out of the USA two days later while all ground traffic was grounded is another story. And the gov't wonders why we can't find Bin Laden...probibly because he's living safely in our own country.

First, there is not any longer one scrap of info tying both Iran or Iraq into 9/11. on condition that both international places have a milenia previous antipathy it really is fairly unlikely they'd do something jointly. second, the U. S. has lengthy gone to conflict because the aggressor quite a few circumstances. In 1848 adverse to Mexico we waged a strictly imperialist conflict for territory, and in 1893 we did it back with Spain. In both circumstances we man made incidents to justify our bare aggression. The wars we waited to be attacked, sarcastically, were both international wars. inspite of the attacks on democracies by utilizing totalitarian regimes we left out the strive against and tried to duck. 9/11 became an act of terrorism by utilizing a criminal conspiracy. The known wrongdoer is a Saudi who hated Saddam Hussein and observed as for his overthrow. If Osama continues to be available, he could be giggling that we've finished his artwork for him, destabilizing Iraq and eliminating the secular authorities so his extremists can make a run at actual capacity.

A note to the idiot conservatives who think no one said Iraq attacked us on 9/11: "Vice President Dick Cheney suggested that Iraq was involved in the September 11 attack during a, "Meet the Press" interview: Iraq is, "the geographic base of the terrorists who had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9-11."
Pull your heads out.
