Are any books or movies based on someones dream?

I had a frightening nightmare last night and I think it would be a good screenplay for a horror movie. Have any other things been based on a dream?

Stephen King has based many of his novels on his dreams. He says that nothing in his imagination can compare to what he sees when he sleeps...that guy is creepy but a great storyteller.

mulhulland drive was based on the directors dream. the movie made absolutely no sence!!!
