hi all,
how do I get the yahoo icon on my desktop in place of the 'e' (the internet icon)?

do a search on yahoo for the yahoo icon, save it then use that as your desktop icon.

Browse to the directory where your yahoo icon is. Make a shortcut of it by right clicking on it and make a shortcut. If you already have the yahoo icon on your desktop then just skip to the next step.

Drag it over to your desktop. Then right click on the yahoo icon and then you will see the "target". You need to change that location to the internet explorer launching program. Change it to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe

You save the icon as an image.

Then right click on internet>>>properties>>>shortcut(top)>>>change icon(bottom three buttons)>>>browse for the saved image and press OK.

I dont think you can, unless if you have something like Yahoo! with BT Internet??

go to your start menu, find the application, right click on it and select create short cut then drag it onto your desk top.
