global dimming is a very worrisome factor. By the turn of the next century we will have more dimwits than at any other time in the history of mankind. Already this phenomenon has become a global concern. So many people's brains are dimming.

Global dimming is the gradual reduction in the amount of global hemispherical irradiance (or total solar irradiance) at the Earth's surface, observed since the beginning of systematic measurements in 1950s. The effect varies by location, but worldwide it is of the order of a 5% reduction over the three decades from 1960–1990. This trend has reversed during the past decade. Global dimming creates a cooling effect that may have partially masked the effect of greenhouse gases on global warming.

Some scientists now consider that the effects of global dimming have masked the effect of global warming to some extent and that resolving global dimming may therefore lead to increases in predictions of future temperature rise.

From what I think it is a Global Dimming is a state in which the world will come to a time and it will compose of clouds covering the whole Earth and creating a sort of dim atmosphere for probably several time and may come out to be a Ice Age. I guess if this might be true it will be a great worry, but I think it is not possible for this to happen, but again it might be possible in like later many years.
