Driving to work this morning, I read a license plate bracket that read:

"IT PAYS TO HAVE A REALTOR"...

yes, it sure does pay, as it serves the realtor, not you and me...look at the prices of home in the past 5-years...you gotta wonder if the realtors in the US are following the same model as the oil companies, gouging us for 6%, to be driven around in a leased car, Botox smiles and all. Only in America can one earn so much for doing so little...and then the dirty tricks played by the escrow companies, banks(aka nickle and diming to death)

Realtors: when you write the check for property taxes, remember, your not part of the solution. Your part of the problem...

We sold our home with a good attorney, saved about $15,000, which is enough to take a nice vacation.

Good for you. but it concerns me how you are so steriotypical. I mean, you are cadagorizing all realtors to be bad people. Do you know every singe realtor in this country? How would you feel if people catagorized you from what you do as a career? Did you ever stop to think that some people may just do it becuase they enjoy it? Not for the money? Not to 'intentially' ruin people's lives like you are portraying them to do so? Or do you honestly believe that EVERY SINGLE realtor is bad? Especially with today's society, I am shocked to hear people being so steriotypical

Very good observation...I have felt the same way but never put it into words..you did it perfectly!!

The last time we bought/sold a home these realtors made about $15000 of us. All in 10 days because our house sold 3 days on the market and we had to hurry to find a new house.

Next time we are going to probably use the other service that only charges 3% not sure how to use a lawyer but I will look into it when the time comes.

Sure they are, you're right. the only ones that benefit is the realtor. For example: Asking for 105,000 for a house when only that house is ugly, has a little sqaure footage, is old, and has old decor inside. looked like it cost maybe 75,000, but who are they kidding? I like the fact that people have gotten more smart about buying houses. The realtors think we are stupid....hell no, they can kiss it and get on with their crummy life.
