Be who you are. Learn to let it slide off you. When someone insults you, either don't answer at all, or shrug like so what. You don't have to make excuses for who you are, or feel bad about it.

Find others like yourself in your area. Hang out with them. They'll accept you for who you are. They wont critisize you, or call you sissy. Some may also have already been through what you're experiencing and can offer you solice.
Some of the others have a point as well. You should stick up for yourself. We dont hate the Lion for killing the doe, nor the rabbit for being or seeming meek. You are who you are. And that's alright.
LISA, you &^%$# idiot! There is nothing wrong with him. He didnt take the "wrong" path. Keep your pushy arrogant ignorant unsolicited preaching to yourself! If we, the dammned want your "salvation", will ask for it.

I believe in prayer. Though according to the Bible, being gay is wrong. God loves us all no matter the paths we choose in life. When we choose the wrong path (or maybe not fight the wrong path), our lives are more difficult to handle mentally and/or physically. Ask God for guidance in helping you overcome the lifestyle that you have. I think being gay could be genetic and in some cases maybe caused by the way you were raised, or even a result of sexual abuse. Regardless of the cause, it's still wrong. My aunt is gay, so I have an idea of how you might be feeling as a result of criticism and the depression also comes because somewhere deep inside you, you know it's wrong. Let's not also rule out the need for antidepressants and counseling.

it sounds like you might be a bit feminine in your outwardly expressions- so what? f*** 'em. find some good friends who appreciate you and enjoy you. people that criticize are just scared- and can't accept the sissyboy in you. go to rehoboth beach in delaware- great gay community and you could let it rip there. it's fun to be the majority once in awhile.
peace baby.

Don't let ignorant people upset you. Just because you are gay.....people are more accepting these days than they used to be. I'm not gay but I say to you --- just be yourself. Not everyone likes everyone - so even if you weren't gay, there would be people criticizing you. Don't let it get you down. Mean people suck and you are okay by us. SMILE :)

To hell with what people say. You should feel confident enough about yourself that what others say doesn't matter. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me.

You have to live for yourself and no one else, just be yourself and the hell with everyone else. I know how you feel, because I'm gay also.
