Well, this is a sort of long story. My boyfriend and i have been going out for 2 years, we are 18 and 20. We meet through my older sister and her boyfriend, who are both 21. They started dating at the end of their grade 9 year and dated for 6 year. Just under a week of 6 years, my sister dumped her boyfriend. Now i feel like im in a awkward situation. My boyfriend and i aren't letting this affect us, its hard. We are planning to get engaged this summer but now everything is different. I've been sisters with my sister for 18 years and my boyfriend has bee friend with my sister's now ex for 16 years. This break up came to a huge surprise to everyone. All my sister would say that they were fighting a lot, so it seems like she ran from her problems. I don't know what to do, she is my sister and i know how happy she was with him. I believe there is a 3rd party telling her that the fights aren't worth it. But i life you have to deal with problems and not run away.

Your sisters relationship is her relationship. This shouldn't affect you and your boyfriend. But having said that, I can see the position you are in. All I can say is communicate with both parties, don't start lying to accomodate the others feelings, and be true to each other.....

sorry but this is all I have to offer.

Relationships have their ups and downs. I say live and let live. If they really love each other and are meant to be together they will find their way back "home". Whatever you say or do won't make a difference at this point.
