If i download something from net to lets say harddisk C can it pas on to d, If so how can i prevent ? or visa versa ? please help me

c & d are two partitions on the same hd.
besides , the ram is cosidered as a bridge between them i.e.,when u open an infected file on c it gets in the ram . when u open d the virus moves from the ram to d

If the computer is running both harddrives, it's like a virus bridge with no toll. Don't download attachments/warez/illegal software.

you could purchase an adapater which enable's you to plug you're old demanding disk into you're computing gadget then move documents from the demanding disk to computing gadget then plug in youre new demanding disk and placed it from the computing gadget to the hot demanding disk. desire this helped =)

Sure Computer Virus can spread... they need no permisiion any exe file you open will get infected... and they can do lot more.... delete it... using your antivirus. software...... use some effective antivirus software.... i suggest avast! http://www.avast.com (free... quick effective)... or you can use your desired one!
