That is just wrong. Do you know the reason they didn't pick you up? Is it legit? I'm sorry you missed the funeral though. That really sucks. I wouldn't depend on them again for anything important.

End up not going to the funeral just because that person did not pick you up. Then later when the family asks why you didn't go to the funeral, point to the person and say "he was suppose to pick me up and never did."
Make him look like the bad guy, He'll either beg for forgiveness and start doing nice things or he get pissed off. Either way you let him know you didn't appreciate it....

Maybe they were so distraught they forgot. It sometimes happens. Just talk to them about it and try to be understanding about their loss.
