I use Verizon and, so far, I have excellent coverage and not many dropped calls.

Cingular. I went through a period of changing cell phone services. I changed services about 5 times in three months. I found that Cingular has very good service and their customer service should you need it, is very good.

Plus Cingular is the only company that offers roll over minutes which has definitely come in handy several times. And the phones they use can be used internationally. They use the same type of technology that is used over seas. So when you travel over seas you don't need to get a different phone.

I would have to say that it depends on your needs and where you live. This is how I would Rate the top 4 carriers.

Cingular- Rollover minutes and rated # 1 for fewer dropped calls
Sprint/Nextel- For there technology they have available to all customers. They built there all digital network from the ground up.
Verizon- cause they have a large voice network with great coverage but make sure you look at there data map. It sucks.
T-mobile- Don't have anything good to say about them so I will leave it at that.

OH and by the way Sprint BOUGHT Nextel they didn't merge or there not co-owners.

Personally, I have tried all of them and the best customer service and price as well as clear reception and no lost calls is Sprint. I have had it for 2 years after trying EVERYONE else. Good luck

It really depends on your location, needs and desire. Try going to www.mobiledia.com and reading reviews from people in your area. The reviews outline customer service, reception and general satisfaction. Also try www.phonescoop.com, they have a checklist that helps you to pick the perfect phone for you, by carrier! Good Luck!

depends where you are but i have had verizon sprint and t-mobile and cingular and the best hands down is verizon

AND NEVER EVER BELIEVE COMMERICIALS and always do research on phones and everything before you make a decision cause one thing all cell phone companys do is restrict some phones features so you have to pay them to get it to do the stuff it could do on its own before they blocked it

Cingular. They are affordable. Do not do Suncom they are a rip off with the worst customer service in the world.

it depends where u live, if u live in small cities, get Verizon cause its CDM and it is everywhere, but if u live in big cities, get verizon or Cingula. these two are the top rated. just see which phone selection u like. Cingular is world service cause it is GSM and verizon is not cause it is CDM

Not sure if you have Suncom available there or not. I'm in the South, and I've had it for about 7 years now. I pay $60/month for unlimited calls, unlimited long distance..anytime to anywhere in the U.S. no time restrictions..nothing like that...it's awesome.
