Our city hosts a big fireworks show....we go to that sometimes...that way you can sit with your kids and watch....you may want to sit far away, if you have a 6 month old...the noise may be a little much for the baby

Take take them to the park it is fun but i dont now about the 6 month old. Take them swimming!! or if u have a place where u can go see fireworks go to see them that's what i remember as a child on the 4 of July

Take them too the zoo or the aquarium (someplace to look at things, since your 6 month old probably probably can't do many activities yet, but your 3 year old will probably enjoy this too). definitely take them to see fireworks, but I would bring the car in case they get scared (sometimes you can watch fireworks on tv too)

FIREWORKS!! lol and a cook out and play with sparklers, well dont let them hold it, but you can hold it and show them.
