It would be really interesting to form the United States of Amexicanda! And it is odd that we seem to fear Mexicans so much. But if tacos powered industry and automobiles, we would be in Mexico for sure.

Because they are the plague.

They have consistently voted against us in the UN, the old presidente told the first Pres. Bush go back off wets or they 'd be no help with stemming the flow of drugs (they are now the largest exporter of cocaine to America). When Mexicans and Mexican-Americans commit crime and run for the border, MX harbors them and plays the 'race' game.

I enjoyed this question.

The US only would get involved if the president ever was a threat to US economic intrest.....

Besides there is a plan to build a superhighway four football fields wide from Canada to Mexico, there are plans to make French English and Spanish the offical langauge and to create a single currency for the region to improve trade.......
i am not kidding.

being a super-nation severely comprimises everything America believed in since its founding. if we join our alliances w/ mexico and canada, and erase our borders, then we could lose our entire constitution which means we, as citizens, wont be as protected as we are today. but of course, some people, mostly liberals, socialists, and communists, would love to see the citizens lose and the politicians win. they are blind to the individual needs of the citizen. not everyone can conform to the same thing. one size does not fit all.

There are a whole lot of reasons not to do what you suggest. What language would we speak in that great country? Whose laws would we live by?
