lol I can't believe you though of that question. They have other things in mind other than sex. They are thinking about space stuff which is more fascinating than being on earth and they'll problaby forget about sex. Men can't be that horny or are they? They'll problably do it with a martian or something.

Yes stuff floats. I'm sure they find a way to contain and "stuff" that might float and offend. But as to whether they satisfy themselves. . . well, that's a personal question for an individual astronaut. If they are spending time on the space station, which is a lot longer tour than a shuttle trip, and they can find privacy enough to do so, they probably do. But in either case, it's their business.

You really need a hobby.

It is acceptable:

"We depend and rely on the professionalism and good judgment of our astronauts," said NASA spokesman Ed Campion. "There is nothing specifically or formally written down about sex in space."

Though apparently not for Russians, since one cosmonaut of that country has claimed that space sex is forbidden.

t would surely be a lot of fun in zero-g. But probably most astronauts have partners on Earth so decide to abstain while in space.

"Banging one out" must pose problems for for male astronauts because the lack of gravity would mean the produce would float around as little white spheres, causing much embarassment. But people manage to urinate in space, so. Perhaps tubes are involved.

I don't think you can simplify the issue to say they just ignore it. Astronaut training covers every aspect of living in space so I am sure they have dealt with this issue as well. But I don't know how. For a normal space shuttle 10 day mission it shouldn't be an issue. What about a guy living in the space station for six months?

the problem with doing trying to do it in space is that since there's no gravity then the sense of attraction can become confused and astronauts can find themselves suddenly wanting to get it on with all the dogs and monkeys that are floating around up there instead of with other human astronauts. to solve this problem nasa invented astroglide and in a non-gravitational environment it solves the problem

C'mon guys...wouldn't you think of that if you were in space with a member of the opposite sex? It's one thing to be in the Mile High Club, this is a MUCH more exclusive club. How many people have had sex in space? Five? How many have pleasured themselves in space, then watched their Man Juice squirt completely across the space station?

You know you'd think about it, too...

It's common practice for men in situations like this to be given drugs to inhibit their hormonal workings and subsequently surpress sexual appetite.
Actually I think this should be made freely available without prescription and dissolveable.

They crack one off. With the big gloves they wear it's like someone else is doing it and they get to shoot for miles.
