Here is a good site on hair removal with the pros and cons of each.

For after shave bumps and itching try an aloe cream with vitamin E to soften and moisturize the area. Also if there is an open, slightly bleeding area try neosporin.
Good Luck!

Use an exfoliating and antibacterial soap, then make sure that you aren't chilled when you shave. If you have goosebumps when you shave, you will cut off the top of the bump and that will cause a sore. Don't shave until you have been in a warm shower or bath for a while before you start. That will make the skin release the hair a bit so the razor will cut smoother. If you don't have to go swimming or worry about who might see you, then let it heal before you shave again. That way you can start with a clean area and it won't do any further damage to what is already there.

If you must shave I would get a good moisturizer and cortisone cream to apply afterward, I wouldn't recommend shaving daily especially in the bikini area, try a Neet or a Nair hair remover that tends to be smoother and last longer, like 4 weeks and you don't have the itchy effect of razor bumps after-wards either.... Oh, just test a small area of your skin with hair first to make sure your not allergic OK...

dont shave anymore, use hair removal stuff. Or if you are going to continue to shave use warm water around the area it looses up the hair follicles and then use some type of lotion afterwards. Vitamin E or cocoa butter should work well.
