I've hated my job for a while, absolutely despised it the last two months. My friend has been an unemployed slacker for the last 25 months (except for approx. 8 months he served in Kuwait). Who will get a new job first? I'm thinking about waiting until December to leave my company, and my money's still on me...

It is harder to find a job if you are unemployed. You could start job hunting now so that you can move from your current job to your new job without having weeks or months in between the two.

If I hated my job, I would start looking now and then when you find a job, tell them to shove it. Ha! Don't do that, you don't want to burn your bridges. You may have to go back to them.
