He reported non factual information about President Bush's Millitary history.It was done in a hurry and he did not due the job of verifing th information before he put it out on the national news. The person who help do the research was fired but Rather just said who would retire sort of.

I believe that Dan Rathers just retired from CBS last week, if I am not mistaken. I was watching the news (on a different network), and they mentioned it.

sorry to give an irrelevant answer but you don't have an email so I'm kinda cheating. in response to your answer on my whats wrong with andrea question I know I got it wrong, sorry. and yes my dad has bipolar. im still alive and well. of course he doesn't live with us and my mom's always there, but still. he's not that kind of guy. mental illnesses make you do things you wouldn't otherwise do but I maintain you do have some control over yourself. again, sorry to post a random answer.

After all the years he has spent with them, they let him go to give a women his job because it is pollitically correct at this time. They also made deals with him that they did not keep.
