I have so many favourites but i think i would have to say "paint a vulgar picture" from the Strangeways album. It's absolutely heartbreaking stuff. "There's a light that never goes out" is my second favourite, but they really didn't do a bad song. It's a shame they were so under-rated in the eighties, as i don't think any band will ever equal them. Morrissey & Marr together were utter genius. I'm so disappointed with Morrissey's new album though, really surprised at it.

Oh my God. They where the best. How can you ask to chose one song? Thats like asking who is your favourite child !!!! I love them all. "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" very touching. "How Soon Is Now" so meaningful in my teenage years !!! "Headmasters Ritual", "The Queen Is Dead", "Panic" "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" No way... No way I'm I going to chose one song !!!!! ......Though I have a slight inclination towards "What She Said" for personal reasons !!
