The names that I liked when I was pregnant (both times) were Alexander, Nicholas, Kyle & Daniel for a boy. For a girl's name I loved (other than the names I chose for mine) Olivia, Jessica, Sarah, Zoe & Nicole. But, since my husband had to agree - I ended up naming my daughters Abigail & Emma - both of which I also adore. I depends on whether you go for the old fashioned or biblical names, like I do, or if you like the new-fangled names with the alternate spellings.

I named my son Braidyn (Braden, Brayden, Braydon etc.) there are so many ways to spell it to sound slightly different.... and I seriously didn't like any other boy names... Although my friend likes Braxton, and Blake! I like Noah, but theres to much of a soft, niceness to it (I basically liked it so much because of Noah in the "Notebook" movie)
For girls I wanted the name Tayla (but my husband wanted Taylor), I also like Kharis (Michael douglas and Katherine zeta-jones named there daughter this) I loved the named Isabella but it is extremely popular for little ones these days!

I like the name Noah, too. I just had a baby last week and I wanted him to have the same initials as his big brother so I named him JANOAH since his brother's name is JEVANI. Their middle names start with a's: AHMAND and ARYE. My name is very unique and original. It's DEMIA. Janoah was supposed to be a girl and was to be named JAZDIA which is Polish for "princess"

You have to look at it this way, what you name your baby could hurt them or make them proud. Kids are mean at school so no silly names. I have seen some crazy names and some very proud names. We went the route of tradition. My husband has a very Irish last name so we went with Megan and her middle name is my Grandma's first name which is Anita.

My daughter is Hannah- I wanted Raleigh (hubby didn't) we also considered Madison, Emma, Leah, and Ally
For a boy we wanted Hunter (my husband joked that he wante Hunter's middle name to be Fisher, Momma didn't find it very funny) we also liked Austin (my hubby is a huge UT fan, Hook'em Horns)
He also named the dog Beevo (the longhorn's name)
