I've heard as few as 3 days, but 4 days has been my minimum. 2 days or less isn't considered a full period.

If you are talking about a period that girls have monthly there is no "normal" times. Every girl is different. It can range from 3 days to 10 in some girls. From all I've dealt with over the years, if you are younger, you usually start off slower and as you get older you usually have it for 5-7 days, with it being light in the beginning, to heavier and then to light again.

If you are worried about it, you need to talk to either your mother, another adult woman that you trust, or even your school nurse can help you with this matter.

after giving birth, my period ends after 3 days. understandable since the hormones in our body change when something big like that happens...

please remember that people should realise the body, mind and spirit are all intergrated. if you were feeling stressed,. sometimes the period doesn't even com. or shortens the days..
