Sounds to me that he sees you as very good looking, and he's working hard to impress you but he may have some fear to ask you out because he thinks you might say no. Although you had acepted him and let him talk to you, asking you out is a little harder to do for him. I had this situation happen to me once, when I was in high school . One of the cuttest girls has chosen to sit by me on the bus. I didn't even know Her and She just told me to sit in the seat next to Her one day. I did, and from then on, She sat by me everyday, and we talked alot. But even though She has shown me great compassion and friendliness, I could not get up enough courage to ask her out on a date! I kept waiting and hopeing she would bring it up, or ask me out. But in those days in 1972, Girls were not yet asking boys out or making aproaches on guys, maybe some but I don't remember. I think its cool that some girls are doing this now and alot of men like it! But thats up to the Girls if they want to roll play iniation at times. In a way, its a good way for a girl to experience what its like to us guys having to ask girls out and stuff. And you can see it itsn't easy to do at most times. I myself find it harder to talk to cute Gilrls because the fear of rejection is stronger in me with cute Girls. The cuter the girl , the stronger the fear of rejection is!
Thats just the way it is with us guys.
Heres something for you Girls should know. If a guy doesn't talk to you that you haven't met yet, Unless he hates you for some reason or he's mad at you, it means that, he thinks you are cute and good looking! and he really wants to talk to you but he's afraid to approach you because of fear of rejection! I find it alot easier to aproach or talk to Girls who may be a little short on good looks, because I have not the fear of rejection at hand! Do you get what I mean? best wishes sweetie, JoeyMars..

Some guys (impressive as they are) are extremely shy. Ask him out. I asked my husband out first. I let him pay of course. You can't take the man's pride. But it is o.k. for you to pay once in a while too. Next time you talk to him converse about movies you both like then mention a new comedy (or whatever type of movie you both like) that is playing and ask if he wants to go.

ask him out, or move on if you really want a relationship and it seems this guy will never give you what you want.

He's trying to build you up. Stay away from him, he's probably married and you won't be his only girlfriend. I work with guys like that.
