North Carolina with out a doubt. Look at the stats more wins than duke and more national championships. Thats all i have to say because those two stats are the most important.

It really is a toss up. Last year Duke had a better team even though they didnt win their conference....North Carolina did. I know that doesnt make much sense but everyone would agree that Duke had more talent and a better overall team last year. This year and for a few years to come I see N.C. dominating not only the ACC but the whole NCAA. They have alot of young talented guys who know how to win. Duke's rep is being hurt by the lacross scandle. I know it is a different sport, but enrollment is way down for the school. I think all these factors will hurt Duke and help N.C.

Duke. To the fellow who suggested Duke has an benefit over UNC because they're a private college blah blah blah, i in my opinion disagree. Duke is between the hardest faculties to get into in the country. Its rated up there with assorted the Ivy league faculties in teachers. Duke has a a lot stricter admissions requirement than maximum colleges do. the guy with the mind-blowing jumper and unwell strikes with a 2.0 GPA and a 900 on his SATs would by no skill be seen through Duke, yet would get an finished scholarship to UNC. That places Duke at an major disadvantage at the same time as it contains determining on up recruits, provided that they decide in preserving with brains and by no skill only a bounce shot.

Both have great basketball teams and both have many stars coming out of those schools. I think Duke has won more championships so I will go with them.
