Yes he should be banned. Although technically he was not cheating, we was breaking the law. In case some of you forgot, steroids are ILLEGAL! Bonds is my favorite all-time player, but if he has been found to use steriods he broke the law and should be punished for it. Rose broke the law and the rules of baseball and paid the price for doing so. I hope that it comes out that he did not use, but all indications point to that he did use and that is unfortunate because I think he was well on his way to becoming the best player in baseball history without using steriods. Too bad.

Yes, Barry Bonds should be banned from baseball, and should not be in the Hall of Fame because of all these years Barry cheated to hit more homers than Babe Ruth? That's not good!

No he shouldn't be banned and will not be banned. It doesn't matter if it's steriods or gambling. The bottom line is that Gambling has been illegal in BASEBALL since the beginning of time and Pete broke the rulz. Steriods have not been illegal in BASEBALL until now and the punishment is NOT being banned from baseball. They can get rid of his records but there is no way they can ban him from baseball.
It's MLB's fault and they deserve the embarrassment of having Barry Bonds get the record.

A most emphatic YES!!! Betting on your own team is one thing, but using steroids distorts the records of which baseball is so proud. Bonds is a disgrace to the game and should retire.

They all use juice. Get over it. If you think it's bad in the majors, it's 3 times worse in minor league ball. All those kids trying to make the show will do whatever it takes. They will never be able to get rid of performance enhancing drugs in professional sports.

Using steroids is cheating, and the Hall of Fame is not for cheaters. I do think is going to the Hall of Shame, if guilty.

Of course, but if he is found guilty and they put him in, Pete would in no doubt be put in. If a cheater is put in the Hall before and gambler, real baseball fans will be angry.

Yes, they need to make a step in the right direction. It sucks that all his records are all tarnished from his selfishness. But that is the price you pay for trying to cheat.
