We know England won the World Cup in 1966 and we keep seeing clips of the goals, but why can't we see the whole match? (for the benefit of those of us who weren't here in '66) Does anyone else feel "Left out" or remember the game?

The final score that day was 4 - 2 even as you say Joker smile England scored a ghost goal that nobody saw only the referee in my way of thinking 4 - 1 = 3. And 3 is 1 more than 2 so England would have still won. I am one of the lucky people who watched the match and I am sure like a lot of those answering you can get either a VIDEO or DVD with the game on. Sorry I got side -tracked it just bugs me when people go on about that goal.

We scored the most goals of course!!

Silliness aside, I believe it was quite exciting with goals having their validity questioned and so on - I am sure if you search around you can find a vid or DVD of the match so you can enjoy the whole thing in peace. I know there is a BBC DVD called simply 'The World Cup Final, 1966, England V West Germany'
