i am used to active routine (running, swimming, gym, outdoors) however, now we are trying to see if i can conceive. it will take a long time before i find the results (2-3 weeks). Are the rules at this time same as being pregent (no weights, running etc)? What are the changes that happen inside me supposing the results next month show positive?
I am 31, this is the first time and am super healthy

Good for you for being active and unless your doctor says otherwise, you should be able to exercise. Just cut back on the strenuous exercising (ie, lifting weights). Later in pregnancy, when you start to show, you will want to not do anything that bounces you or that could cause you to fall (ie, running, horseback riding, rock climbing, parachuting). My favorite exercise when I was pregnant was swimming and water aerobics. The weightlessness felt good on my back and legs.

Docs usually tell their patients that early pregnancy isn't the time to adopt a new exercise routine, but that you can continue to engage in the activities that your body is accustomed to. And keeping in good shape is really important during pregnancy. At some point you'll have to cut out the high impact stuff like running, but you can likely swim right up until the end.

Don't stop weightlifting if it is a regular part of your routine already. The changes you best make at this time is reducing or eliminating alchohol, caffine, tobacco, deep sea fish, etc,. I've been told to keep doing any non-bouncy excercise as long as it's still comforatable to keep doing. A gal in my spin class made it through month 4 before the saddle got too uncomforatable.

alot of doctors will tell you to stop doing any exersices that would be too strenous...when your further along jogging isnt good either because some women get really top heavy if you want to say and seem to trip our your own feet...i would knock into alot of things when i was pregnant...there should be some maternity gym classes at your local gym..i would call and ask about them...But i found that swimming worked best for me.
