If your house is out of level, there could be serious issues with the stability of the footings, foundation, and the ground underneath. If this is the case, you need to have the situation assessed by a building inspector or engineer.
As for the cost, the bigger the house (you offered no information), the higher the cost. Homes in some geographical locations will be more expensive die to economic as well as environmental reasons. If your house is in San Francisco, CA, you will have to deal with earthquake mitigation as well as a high cost of doing business. I am sure you get the picture.

when you say leveled i asume you me torn down??? if so it will really depend on the size ,a nad age of the home. the reason i say age is due to the fact it may have alot of lead in the paint, and plumbing, and asbestos.
contact your local fire dept about using the home for practice. if i am not mistaken you can actually get a charitable donation voucher for letting them burn your house down. hey a little tax break never hurts
