I just observe that most US movies and other countries have sensual scenes like kissing and sex when the it is not needed in the story? Is it because they want to educate young people the right choices in life because they are in danger that there is an increase in homosexuals nowadays?

I have a whole library of films at home full of movies that do NOT have needless sensual scenes. Or needed ones, for that matter. I think you'll find that there are many movies, including blockbusters, that don't have needless sensual scenes in them.

There is no anti-homosexual conspiracy out there. And if the movies were trying to "educate young people in the right choices in life" you'd see more of the kissing and sex being between married characters. Unfortunately you don't.

Writers put in the scenes because they think it helps the movie, either by making you care more about the characters or because the relationship between the characters is the point of the plot.

Hope this helps.

The movie industry is a business and they are interested in making money. They make films that cater to all sorts of tastes. If you are seeing films with gratuitous kissing and sex, then you are not being a discriminating viewer. Read a review or check the rating before you watch a movie. There are plenty of good films to choose from.

Your tag line about homosexuals doesn't even deserve an answer.

Money. Movies with sex tend to do better at the box office. For example:

Pork Chop Hill (1959) - classic epic about the Korean war - no sex, I don't think there was even a female part in the entire cast - grossed an estimated 12 million (adjusted dollars - for 1970) at the box office.

M*A*S*H (1970) - comedy set in the same Korean war - famous nude scene featuring Sally Kellerman - grossed 81.6 million at the box office.

You do the math.

Movies are fantasies. Kissing and sex are fairly universal human fantasies. There are good movies that don't contain, but I think it's always best to work them in if you can.

I think it's because we are infidels. Destined to reap the punishment that we are due. Sex is a natural thing in life why do so many cultures repress it. Without it you get no more humans.

We in the western world however are more in love with violence.

It is so much more acceptable to watch a police officer shoot someone, than it is to watch two crazy adults screw their brains out. I like boobs. I really do.

To answer the homosexual question, that is probably the most retarded thing I have ever heard. There is nothing you can do to st
homosexuality, short of setting san fran ablaze.

Im sorry. but kissing between a man and woman promotes HOMOSEXUALITY? Are you kidding?

Kissing and sex scenes in GOOD movies is usually there to advance the plot, tell something more about the characters, or to show the audience how connected the two characters are. Sex scenes, nudity and such in BAD movies, is just there to tittilate the audience or advance the plot, show a connection between the characters, etc.

You know, in the US we expect people to view such material with a mature eye. If I disagree with something being shown on TV, I turn the channel, or turn the TV off completely. If scenes of this nature bother you, dont go to see US movies with those scenes, I guess. Are you really so afraid your countrymen dont have the selfcontrol needed to see kissing on the screen without trying to perform oral sex on their best friends? If thats the case, I would suggest you see a lot more kissing and sex scenes in movies, so you can build up a tolerance for it. Just dont shower with any of your buddies until you have that tolerance.

People love a good romance on screen. maybe you haven't seen "Broke back mountain" It's about two cowboys falling in love!! The movie was huge and young and old alike would have seen the movie. as they say "you're born gay" Your statement is a bit silly.

They have been making Westerns since long before anybody ever heard of "life choices". In the early days of film making there was usually a "love interest" so that the hero had someone to "save". Remember the "damsel in distress"? As films evolved they included a love scene, in an attempt to lure the female viewer into the movie theater and occasionally to give the "hero" a "cause". As films continued to evolve, there were movies with love scenes that never made it to the screen, because the editor or director decided is took away from the story. Even the movie "First Blood" the origination of the "Rambo" saga had a love scene. Who ever decided to cut it...Thank You. Currently they include nudity, harsh language, and sex, to get an R rating. R rated movies sell more tickets. More tickets means higher sales of popcorn and candy and THAT'S where the money is. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think that the sex scenes are necessary. What I hate is that there is not peep nudity or the sheets between the actors.
