Did you know outsourceing helps people more than it hurts? Thats right you hater liberal. It does. A wise man once asked the Indoneasian president "How can these sweat shops be helping those poor kids whiped into working?" to which the president replied "Sweat? What is wrong with sweat? Sweat is what built this nation. Sweat is what puts bread on the table." It keeps prices lower in America, it takes away LOW (by normal American standards) PAYING JOBS and gives them to people who NEED IT. And since there are fewer low paying jobs, there are more HIGH PAYING JOBS in America. Good for the BOTH of us. Time to open your eyes.

Crime is up? So is the rate of people like you, thanks for wanting America to do better! Way to go out and change the world! Oh wait! You aren't. You are on Yahoo! Answers bashing Republicans. Way to go! Please, go to freerepublic.com to go talk about politics.

Pregnancy is up? And so is death! No problem there! No problem even to start with? How are more pregnancies a problem?

Jesus isn't gone from my school. Everyone at my table prays everyday before lunch. (We do not go to a Christian school, but a public one). Jesus is as you say "gone from schools" because America doesn't want to offend any other religions from other countries, which I am against. I agree with you on that one, Jesus, Budda, Allah, I want all of them freely placed in my school.

Failing Economy? ARE YOU DAFT? The economy is the best it has been EVER. DO YOU HEAR THAT? EVER.

The end of handywork? Well yeah, no more wooden rocking chairs in work places, its all sturdy metal and plastic. That's not a politcal issue.

Remember october 1917? Please, what happened that month? Hm? Do you remember? No? Ok, then don't act like you know.

You clearly don't know your facts. And learn how to use commas. Good lord, what are you, 10? Hey look! Your power rangers is on!

Dont come back here untill your facts are strait.

Also: Bush lovers get a job? You MUST be 10.

Wow. From your grammar, spelling, and punctuation, I can see why you don't qualify for any sort of high-paying job. Perhaps if you worked on your skills and got a bit more education you could also make some money. Not all conservatives are highly paid executives, you know. Many are just your average worker who believe that government is out of control, and needs to be reduced.

Do some research beyond your liberal blogs and websites, and you'll find that the economy has improved greatly since Bush won the election. Unemployment is as low as it ever was during Clinton's terms. Tax rates are down. The stock market is up. If you're not making enough money to get by, it's pretty much your own fault.

BTW - If you are so upset about people losing their homes, check out the Whitewater scandal. It was Bill and Hillary cheating lots of people out of their homes in a very vicious way.

one of the biggest problems we have competing with overseas companies has nothint at all to do with the current (or any) administration. As a whole the american worker is not as productive for the dollar that overseas workers are. Sure in those countries things are much different but if we as workers were as desciplined and dedicated as they are then we could compete. Yeah their wages are at a level that we cannot live with but they have to ship their product over here. If we were to buckle down and be a better work force then companies would keep the work here. So while you are complaining about not getting enough smoke breaks or because the pop machine is out of pop in the break room remember this - keep bitchin and you will ***** your job overseas

EXACTLY!!! You are right on target. I have no health insurance. I was born in Washington DC. My father retired from the Pentagon. I had things growing up. My mom was home. I haven't been able to be there for my kids - I have serious health issues and can't go to the doctor (had cancer before, can't afford to get it checked out and have very high blood pressure and can't go to the doctor for medicine and make "too much money" which is crap - to get any assistance). My husband was going to school (in his 40s) so we could get back on our feet. He got a .25 cent raise at work and his Pell grant was denied when he reapplied - was making straight A's. VERY NEXT DAY BUSH SAID ON TV: I did not cancel Pell grants. (Guilt???) It sucks big time. Plus on top of all of it, we have an entire 1/2 of another country (Mexico) here to take care of and we can't take care of ourselves. We'll never own again and rent is unreal - pay is not. Thank you for letting me vent. I could have a stroke at any moment and I'd at least be able to say I spoke my words. Send this to Bush when you get all your answers. Send him our love and tell him we hope he is eating well and God forbid he should get sick, that he has the $$ to go to the doctor!! GEORGE BUSH WAS RAISED AS A SPOILED CHILD WITH EVERYTHING HE WANTED. HE WILL NEVER "WANT" OR "NEED" FOR ANYTHING. HE DOES NOT KNOW NOR DOES HE CARE ABOUT THE NEEDS OF THE US CITIZENS.

Adding to that, the US has started a dangerous movement against immigrants. If other countries close their doors to the US and keep the manufacturing ability as mentioned above, this country will have to start from scratch. This time around there won't be slavery, nor low paid immigrants to help. Other growing counties are becoming a threat and the US can't fight them all. If things continue this way the US might have to include itself in the third world country list. I hope that we can prepare to change for a better future.

Maybe if you did some more research you would understand a bit more about import/export and why countries do this. People can always try to do something for USA if they really have a desire to make changes and dis-agree with Bush. Its really easy to type things to put the man down and make stabs at him. So if you are that unhappy, get involved and make a difference. Otherwise why complain? If you can do better, get an education and run for president.

Money, like water, follows the path of least resistance. If you build a dam, water will pool behind it, but it will always be looking for a way around or through the dam. In an earlier era, we Americans built dams everywhere, until we decided that maybe dams weren't that good an idea. They changed the enviornment, some said for the better, some for the worse. But the powers that be decided to stop building dams.

The federal government has built "dams" that affect the free flow of money. Let me pose a situation to illustrate my point. You have just patented a new and better widget. You have five hundred million dollars and want to build a factory to produce your widgets and want to put the "Made in America" label on them. Like every investor, you know that you might be successful and make billions of dollars. Or, you might lose your five hundred million.

You know that few countries respect our patent laws. Thus, you know that people in other countries will retro-engineer your invention and begin to produce it in foreign "sweat shop" labor factories, and export it to the U. S. without paying you a cent, and you know that U. S. laws wil give you no remedy.

You know that production of widgets will result in by-products, and that like most industrial by-products yours will be regulated by the EPA, adding a significant percentage to your cost of producing the widgets.

You know that your factory will have to meet the requirements of the Occupation Safety and Health Administration, again adding a significant cost of producting widgets.

You know the land in the industrial park where you want to build your factory is overpriced because of years of litigation with the Army Corps of Engineers who had classified the area as a protected wetland because it had a standing puddle of water on it.

You know that you will incur a significant yearly expense for lawyers and personnel experts to keep you out of trouble wtih U. S. Civil Rights Commission. Even with that investment, you know that you will need to keep a financial reserve for lawsuits that will be lost because federal judges are constantly redefining your duties under the civil rights laws.

You know that you will incur significant annual expense for tax lawyers and will still be subject to annual anal exams by the IRS. You know further, that your competitors, will not be subject to U. S. taxation because they will either sell directly in the county of production to companies like Walmart, or they will have shell corporations in the U. S. that "buys" the product from the foreign copration at an inflated price and sells it at cost in the United States. Thus any profits are in the foreign company that is not subject to U. S. taxation, and the U. S. shell company will operate on a break even basis and will have no profit to be taxed.

The foreign factories will be located in countries that have no Environmental Protection Agency, no OSHA, no Corps of Engineers to declare their site a protected wetland, no Civil Rights Commission, or if the countries have such agencies a few buck to grease some palms will take care of the problem.

Under these circumstance, would you risk your five hundred million dollars to build an American factory? I think not. Your realistic alternatives are to join the foreign sweatshop producers or to invest your five hundred million elsewhere. The Japanese, knowing your predicament, have offered you a quarter of a million dollars for your patent. You take the money and diversify your investments. A large percentage goes in the stock market, again deversified, some in blue ribbon, some in higher risk. Some goes to government bonds, etc, etc.

Your five hundred million is now about as safe as you can make it, and itlikely to grow at a rate higher than inflation, thus allowing your to turn a profit with little risk, and with no hassle of dealing with the EPA, OSHA, etc., etc.

You only have to look at the history of the Dow to see that well over 90% of its growth has been in years since the Congress built the "dams" mentioned above. Then you have to ask yourself, what would happen if the "dams" were torn down.

Good question except for the Bush part. The "dams" were all built before Bush, mostly by Democratic Congresses. Like Clinton, who enjoyed a reputation as a great economy "grower," and all other presidents, Bush has little power over the economy.Tax increases and decreases affect the economy, but Congress doesn't always cooperate to pass them. The president appoints the Fed Chairman, but has no control over that person's actions after the appointment.

The media have more effect on the economy than the president. By shading their news coverage to be optimistic or pessimistic they affect consumer confidence. Polls during the Clinton years showed that people thought the economy was great and they were doing great. Under Bush, the economy has grown rapidly after recovering from the downturn that started in Clinton's last year and despite the financial disasters of 9-11 and the hurricanes.. However, in polls people now say the economy is not doing well, but they're doing great. Read the economic news stories and objectively try to see whether the story emphasizes the good or the bad.

Sorry to tell you but the democrats have taxed businesses so badly in this country that they are taking the manufacturing jobs to other countries.

Unions are also driving jobs away but demanding more and more.

Don't blame Bush......and for your info the people who support Bush are the ones that are working. I don't know of any lifetime welfare recipients that are voting for the Republican ticket, they love and live for the hands outs that are supported by the DEMS

Holy cow...are you sure you're not a Bush lover yourself? Your style of writing closely mirrors the incoherent remarks Bush often makes himself...

"If you're a younger person, you ought to be asking members of Congress and the United States Senate and the president what you intend to do about it. If you see a train wreck coming, you ought to be saying, what are you going to do about it, Mr. Congressman, or Madam Congressman?"—Detroit, Feb. 8, 2005

People choose to do this. Its not the presidents fault, its actually you people's fault. You all choose to do this nonsense. It was your choice to make America go like this. I dont blame Bush, hes trying to make this country as good as it was, but people out there decide to take the country for themselves. People are becoming more desperate since the attack. It seems that the country is losing its responsibility to take care of its citizens.
