At first I really liked her, but now she's just overexposed and annoying. I agree that her show 30 minute meals is good to watch from time to time, but after a while her hyper-perkiness gets to me too.
She seemed really nice on Next Food Network Star but after her appearances on Oprah, her kajillion shows like $40/day and dining with celebrities, her own magazine, line of cookware and now even a talk show in development....plus she's also getting covered by mags and tv gossip shows....not to mention one of Time Magazine's "Most Influential people"....I just feel like she's being rammed down our throats. And thats when I think she's not all that.

Indifferent actually. She's neither the best nor the worst of the food channel celebrities. I like some of the receipes she's done in 30 minute meals, I hate the $40/day stuff (only with a TV camera following you around do you eat that well.)

i like her. she gets extremely excited when she is cooking and her 30 minute meals show is pretty entertaining. that one is much better than the $40 a day and rachael ray's tasty travels.

I just don't like her. First, she reminds me of some of the evil cheerleaders I went to school with years ago, so I can't get past her image.
More importantly, I watched her $40 a day show twice. She gets all this huge uproar of applause for eating out for $40 per day for ONE person. If you gave me $40, I bet I could feed my whole family when dining out for an entire day. We might not eat at the greatest spots, but it could be done.

Rachel Ray..........sucks
My girlfriend insists on watching her every night when we could be watching something fun like Simpsons...........
Then she never makes any of the stuff that Rachel Ray makes.
I bought her a Rachel Ray cookbook that is collecting dust in the kitchen.
E.V.O.O.?????
R.R.R.S. = Rachel Ray Really sucks

I LOVE her. She's down to earth and bubbly. EVOO gets annoying after so long, especially when she says "EVOO, that's Extra Virgin Olive Oil"...say one or the other please. I think she's great. I watch the show sometimes when there is nothing else on. I read a while back she was going to have her own talk show, I would definitely watch that.

love the food she cooks, but love to put her on mute. Examples of way over used words/lines...."look at this big beautiful slab of meat" "lets get some seasoning action going" "evoo, that's extra virgin olive oil" "gotta love the ol gb, garbage bowl, every girls gotta have one"....enough said.

i enjoy watching her. i like her personality and have tried some of her recipes and they have turned out great. she has inspired me to cook more because her meals really don't take more than 30 -40 (when you have to stop and check the directions or look for ingredients) minutes to prepare.

I don't like her...she's so perky, it's annoying. I will say that sometimes her food looks really good. I agree with the person above that said they watch her on mute (sorry I don't remember who said that).
