The possibility exists.. The probability is low.

For what it's worth, It doesn't require a fault to have an earthquake. Keep that in mind. Shifting plate can happen over areas where tectonic plates are non existent.

There has been measurable earthquakes in the northeast since recording began.
Even up to a magnitude 7..

You have to rephrase the question. Put a Magnatude with the quake. There are quakes of less then 1 going on almost all the time all over the world. So will there be any earthquake there in 25 years. Yes.
Will there be a quake with a Richter scale of 5+ and cause damage, well not likely.

There is a fault line around the Northeastern US. And in fact, there was a magnitude 2.4 (not that strong) earthquake around Rochester, NY on 6-1-06. So yes, there is probably a good chance that there will be an earthquake, but nothing that severe.

There are fault lines in the Appalachian area of the US, but they are local fractures, like cracks in the surface of bread rising in the oven.

They are not long fissures like those that surround the Pacific Ocean, consequently, they aren't as volatile or strong.

Recently, there have been lots of earthquakes in areas that don't commonly have them.... Who knows, the longer pressure builds, the worse the earthquke will be too....

north east? no way there is no fault line but on the western poart of us that is VERY possible
