When the Supreme Court upheld a good portion of the Texas redistricting plan, did they open a can of worms that will encourage all states to redistrict each time a party takes over their house?

I was surprised to find that law doesn't require waiting for the census for redistricting.

It did. Although I hate Dems -the politicians, not the voters- I believe it was scummy of texas Reps to do it.
