I went to the doctor yesterday for them to check my iron and to see if the baby would have down syndrome because of my age. they checked the baby heartbeat and it was strong. then I went to my other doctor for and u/s and they said they couldn't hear a heartbeat. so they told me I had a miscarriage but, I had no signs of a miscarriage at all. how can this be????

I don't think anyone knows how to answer this one. This is a very difficult situation. Have they done a sonogram to confirm? Is the baby just 'hiding' somewhere? Make sure that you ask for a second opinion before the options are layed out to you.
This is quite a frightening time for you, you must be agonizing over what the causes are or if it is even true. Be assured, this was not your fault. You did nothing to deserve this. I will be thinking of you and I wish you well. I will tell you firmly, get another opinion!!

that dose not sound very good. inless there where two and they could not see both. if you lost them or the only one i fell for you . was it you first?
but if your docters are missing somthing please have them check again.
please check again . its not a good felling to lose somthing you have seen.
but you had in your body for 4 months

Did they not send you for an emergency ultrasound?
