That's a question to ask God IF you get to Heaven, cause everybody ain't gonna make it. But my view is that everyone is a little racist in their own way. It's ideals that you grew up with given to you from the people around you. Being an African-American female in the south (so many Strikes against me already just for breathing), I've seen it in so many forms its crazy, but at the same time, I can't be upset by it, because in some cases I'm just as bad. Not saying that I hate anyone because of their color, but come on. Everyone has made a racial slur at one point in their lives. I know I have. I'm not proud of it, but that's the reality of the situation. The problems come about when you let it take over your thoughts totally and you begin to hate what you don't know for no reason at all. I can't be mad at a White woman who's scared of Black men after being savagely raped. I'd feel the same way towards a White men if the situation was reversed, but I can can hold resentment towards the White man who hates me simply for living.

People need something to make them feel better about themselves. People need an ideology to latch on to. Some people thrive on fear.
There are myriad reasons. It's pathetic, it's myopic. it's factually incorrect to harbour racist views, but unfortunately some people do. Pity them? Not really. Aren't I allowed just to think that they're idiots?

It is the nature of Human kind to compete it is easier to denigrate others therefore raising yourself by default than it is to actually raise yourself. People look for the differences (ie Race) and use these to denigrate others. As a rule both fear and ignorance propel this natural subconcsious desire to compete into the concsious mind and give us racism.

I dont believe it is in human nature to be racist. People who are racist are brought up with the wrong ideologies from childhood and they should perhaps be pitied.

It's simple, people fear thing that are different, or they feel impose on their life, instead of trying to understand it they think that discrimination will make it "go away."
But if this happens people only want to PROVE they aren't a stereotype.
I think it is sad, i have learnt many a thing from the economic migrants at my place of work, they have taught me things an English person would never know, or think of doing.

racism is divided into two there are racial motivation and racial aggravation. A racial motivation is when a group create a movement to oppose immigration hatred Faith hatred or historical review that had been past from generation to generation e.g blacks hate whites because stories from the past about slavery or catholics and protestants in N. Ireland. racial aggravation is when someone uses racist remarks due to certain overheated arguments or in other words personal hatred

I don't know why. I don't understand it either. I find people fascinating no matter who they are. Different religions/cultures/beliefs just make them so much more human and interesting.
I wish we could answer this question. If we could the world would be a much better place.

am with u on the thought that there are some sick people who are racist and feel that they wanna make others feel as low
but.. there are some others who people think they are racist because they are connected to them selves so much: like being an Saudi (me) makes me kind and giving and having a french grandma makes me kind of cold blooded and having Egyptian blood makes me so out going
its not being racist but it makes me know my self more
so i dont know if you had them separated like that or not

I pity them.
Most racism stems from ignorance, fear or flat out stupidity.
Unfortunately, you can't usually cure stupid.
Still, I feel bad.
Racists lose out on a lot of geniunely good people because of their beliefs or feelings.
That is to be pitied.
