My friends took an old window pane that had six sections in it and got engagement photos from my mom (black and white), went to Hobby Lobby to buy black mats for each section and used the window to "frame" our pictures. It is really beautiful and classic looking but very different at the same time. She put a new silver handle and lock on it to keep the window feel. I'm from Oklahoma.

I'm from America. Anyway, the newlywed couple doesn't have basic household supplies (kitchen appliances, furniture, silverware, china, telivision). It takes years to build up a complete household. So what I suggest you buy your friend is something that she can use. An appliance of somekind. Then if you really care, you could get her something fun as an extra. A digital camera, a certificate to Wal-Mart so that she can buy her own household items (good choice), stuff like that. Good luck!

I'm from this island. We want people to be happy right so the only imaginable thing to give would be books and advice literature on how to become a complete person. I'm referring to spirituality principles. That way, they will each know how to handle the relationship better, and will know the answers to any problems. Theres all kinds, but you may find something for thier specific needs.

Buy a small picnic basket, fill it with two champagne glasses and two small plates, two napkins, two small taper candle holders and tapers. Add their favorite wine, crackers, cheeses, any thing else you can think of for a romanitc picinic. We got one 20 years ago, and still use the classes plates and napkins for our anniversary!

Tell ur friend getting married is easy..
Staying happily married is tough..
and Staying happily married ever after is a myth :-)

Tell ur friend that marriage is the union of two souls and not of two bodies..if she understands ur friend will be happily married for ever..if ur friend doesnt understand..they will be husband and wife for the rest of their lives..
this would be the best gift ur friend could ever get..
