If Al Gore were president it would be a mmmmuch better country. Addressing conservation, global warming, health care, child care, telling the truth, not breaking the laws, not illegally invading other countries for political gain....... are just a few of the things this country could enjoy if Al Gore were president.... but that's just my opinion...... be a leader not a follower...... is my motto..... If Al Gore was president every home in America would have the internet (he invented it, you know). There would be ten trees planted in a safe environment for every one cut down by the greedy repiblican paper companies. Oil refineries would be turned into safe havens for migrating birds, and all gas stations would be used as shelters for illegal immigrants. Who needs fuel, anyway?! All Americans would be forced to drive electric cars to prevent further global warming. Our troops would all be brought back home immediately...how dare we allow a volunteer force that desires to protect our freedom do their job? Flag burning? Okay. Border crossing? Okay. Hunting? With a gun? How dare you! Praying? In school? In public? In the military? Jail time for you! Ahh, yes. What a fun place Al Gore's America would be. Anybody else want to move to Haiti?

There would be trees as far as the eye could see from planting to prevent global warming, the internet would be a free public good, we'd get around on maglev highways powered by vegetable oil and there'd be peace in the Middle East, because we wouldn't need their fossil fuels or invade and occupy their lands with the sacrifice of American lives and tax dollars for the sole benefit of the oil industry. The terrorists would be defeated by their own cultures who are finally at peace with the formerly crusading, occupying, energy dependent and hungry western nations.
It would be AWESOME!

Easy! We would be under constant attcks from terrorists all over the country. Millions of illegal allliens would be granted amnesty, and we would all be sweating bullets to make end meet. God help us from a Democratic president!

The mean global temperature would drop by 5 degrees F, our internet would be running much faster, and we'd be making monthly cash payments to a cave in Afghanistan to prevent any more terrorist attacks.

He wouldn't have attacked Iraq and Saddam would have been contained.....
2,500 U.S. soldiers would still be alive, and 20,000 soldiers would not be injured, and America would be a HALF TRILLION DOLLARS richer.
Why don't we make Bush the President of Iraq? He does more for Iraq than for his own country.

Thats a good question. No one really knows for sure. I think it might be better than it is now under Bush. Maybe he would have handled 9/11 better than Bush. Maybe we wouldn't be at war with Iraq.

I think we'd be a lot better off.
What I find interesting are the comments your question elicited. It illustrates how politically divided our country still is.
