Sex is more significant to a man.
Any human can live without...but why?
Human beings are the only creature on Earth that receives a measureable sense of pleasure from the act itself.
So for humans, it's not just about survival and procreation of the species...it's about pleasure, relating, and social connectivity.

I think how much sex means depends on the person not their gender. I've met people of both sexes who put different weights on the importance of sex.
I couldn't live without sex. It makes me feel good and valued and it is healthy and it gets that 'hungry for love' feeling sorted out.
I'm female.
(Don't get me wrong I don't believe in casual sex or sleeping around; if a suitable partner was not available I'd have to go it alone.)

i am a female and i think that most of the time sex means more to a male because they think about sex every 5 secs i think. and a woman likes sex alot to but i think a woman can live without it. cause its easier for a woman to materbate then it is for a man.

I am a male and quite honestly think I couldnt live without sex in one form or another. I enjoy the the total feeling of contentment and release that the final result produces

Women are more attached when they have sex to the person, than men are. Women could live without sex with a man, cause there are many toys out there to help..

I think it would depend on the sex and with whom it was with.
Could I live without sex? Probably. The reason is that I live a fulfilled life anyway, sex is one aspect...
