Some good answers.
Like the knowledge speaks analogy and the puzzle one too.
Deep thinkers.
To answer about arriving at C without A and B...
I am puzzled.
I feel there is no way to wisdom without knowledge.
The equation is thus C= A+B.
Rather than A+B= C.
Knowledge is acquisition of information.
Wisdom is utilization of knowledge.

Knowledge=know
Wisdom=do

It reminds me of a saying by Yoday,
"Do or do not. There is no try."

Knowledge is collected out of 5 senses perceptions. Wisdom entirely developed always was, and will be 6th one. Wisdom is called "given" and it is, in a sense. In order to articulate wisdom you have to be able to become that 6th Sense entirely and permanently, and be quite familiar with its implications and applications. Stated above shows tha wisdomt did not come from knowledge, it is already formed perfectly only needs to be trusted accepted and learned.all three factors is a mandatory. We cannot skip any of it concerning of being a Wisdom. Otherwise there is an open opportunity to remain smart butt forever.

I always think in very basic terms that wisdom is being able to come up with your own answers to lifes questions, and having a truer understanding of things, because of all the knowledge you've gained. Think of knowledge as pieces to a jigsaw puzzle, and wisdom is what you see when all the pieces come together properly in the end.

Knowledge is knowing the information needed to answer questions. Wisdom is knowing that we don't always know the answers and need to seek the info. out from other sources. Wisdom is also accepting that we are at times wrong while listening and learning from others.

You learn knowledge, you can read it in a book, go to school, be told.You gain wisdom by experience, in living your life. You can have the knowledge of something without ever having experienced it.

So go live it up!

In very simple words, knowledge of a phenomenon may be related to something you may be taught by a teacher, read in a book etc. But wisdom is something you would gain when you actually experience the phenomenon yourself.

Here are a few quotes I found online:

Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom lies in their simplification. - Martin Fischer

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years. - Mark Twain

IMO, the difference between knowledge and wisdom is that wisdom is only arrived upon after applying knowledge. You can't study wisdom; you can only experience it.

Knowledge is what you know.....all the information that you have stacked up along the years...
Wisdom is the application of that knowledge without emotional interferrence or distraction. This is the hardest to attain.....hence we hardly have wise people nowadays.....
Good luck
