Put Hydrogen Peroxide in the ear and lay down on the opposite side for 20 or so minutes. Get up and flip sides, but make sure that you have a towel under your head, and lay there until if sounds clear. You can also get a kit from any pharmacy or drug store, called Murine Ear Wax Removal. It has drops and a bulb syringe in the box. All you have to do with that is the same as above but, take the bulb and soak up warm water and lean over a sink and force the water into your ear.
If all else fails, you might have to go see the doctor. The water can be trapped behind your eardrum and it has gotten infected which won't let the water come back out.

After swimming or showering, put about a capfull of alcohol in each ear, clean with q- tip then put your blow dryer on low heat and blow dry your ears. It sounds funny but it works.

Tilt your head to the side and jump up and down really hard. The water will flow out of your ear. :D
