I don't think that students should take home lap tops that belong to the school or university. They should have their own; laptops are quite handy. But, no, they should not take the school's home because who knows what will happen to them.

That's what laptotps are made for. Of course they should be take home by students. Just use them in a resposnible manner. Use them to study not to chat or browse the internet for fun.

I am assuming you are talking about school owned laptops? I think if the parents sign a waver accepting responsibility then yes.

If it will affect there learning in a positive way then yes! But if you have a class full of miscreants then it will not be such a good idea.
