Actually my Dad told me in an interview that J.K. will kill 3 to 4 of the MAIN characters that way no one can carry on her series later. so i think Harry Will die unfortunatley, but i have stopped trying to predict J.K.

Do I actually believe this? Was I expecting quite a few characters to be killed in the final book? The answer is yes to both of them. The Wizarding community is currently in a state of war, and people are going to die.

As much as I don't like it, I think it is totally possible that J.K. Rowling might kill off Harry. If you remember the article, she said that there is a good side to killing off your main character. When she is dead and gone, no one will be able to come back and write Harry because he already died; it would be satisfactory to know that no one will come back and take over you masterpiece.

Here is a list of people besides Harry that I think might perish.

Ron: Besides being Harry's best mate, we haven't really seen him prove himself in times of danger and battle. He showed his strengths back in Book 1 when during the giant chess match during the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone. There is a theory that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry in the final match against Voldemort.

Pettigrew: Do I have to explain it? Let's see... He betrayed the Potters, he helped Voldemort get his body back, and is an all-around bad guy. I think it's time to go, and that the life-debt that he has to Harry will be involved somehow.

Draco: I think that apart from being "bad", Draco is really a tragic character. His family are Death Eaters. He's got a lot to live up to. I got the kind of feeling that he was forced in the Book 6 to serve Voldemort. All the stress he underwent, the frustration, the anxiety... I mean, the poor boy was misguided. Remember that he is only about 17. People can make horrible mistakes when they are at that age. Unfortunately in Draco's case, it might cost him his life. He's in too deep.

Professor Trelawney: I think there is a possibility of her death in Book 7. She's always predicting how people will die, and seeing strange, dark omens everywhere. I think that is a kind of subtle foreshadowing. She sees death everywhere, why can't it be hers? I just wonder how this would play out, and how important it would be to the actual plot.

Percy: Hmm... Anyone sure which side he is really on?

Who will get a reprieve? I have an inkling that it is one of the Dursleys.... or Snape.

She has been pretty cryptic about the outcome, going so far as to state that one of the characters she was originally going to have die, ends up staying alive. She also stated that if she killed Harry Potter's character then someone wouldn't try to resurrect him for a 8th novel because she has no intention of writing beyond the seventh. She does not allude as to whether or not Harry dies, but she does pose an interesting thought.

She is actually giving us a frank admission.
At some point whilst writing the final Harry Potter book she intends to actually kill two of the actors who play parts in the films-I have already put this hypothesis to the police, and they say they are taking the allegation very seriously.

It will be Snape and Neville. Id think Neville ends up being the fufiller of the prophecy and it turns out Harry while not forgotten loses his notoriety to an extent. (which is fine with him)

She somewhat makes it sound like she wants Harry to die so others cant use him. It will ruin the story over all I think and the lasting ability of the books. If Harry is a horcrux then he's sure to die.

JK Rowling just did a interview and said that 2 main characters will die. i think it will be Voldermort and Harry since they have like each other in them and have to both die. Another thing she ssaid was that if Harry doen't die, other authors could try to write more books about Harry. She didn't seem to happy about that.

I heard that the only reason she would kill Harry off in the last 'Potter' is because she would not like someone to try and start the story again after she (yes, she the author) dies.

It is a childrens book aimed toward children.. The children characters are most likely not going to be killed.. I think it will be snape for killing dumbledore..and professor mcgonigle will do it and die in the process..Or Jenny....cuz she needs to die anyway.and i don't know how to spell..

He's not real, therefore he can't die.

(Good stories, though! And who can say? My guess is that Harry will only die if Voldemort does.)

i think it's quite possible that he'll die in the 7th book coz jkr always said that she wouldn't write a sequel. why should this be unless she knew it couldn't be possible?
if she didn't kill him off and didn't write a sequel then sum1 else wouldv later and i don't think she would like that!!!!!
