What do you prefer? heels sandals slides? or strap heel sandals?

Why do many women avoid the ankle straps and prefer slides. Why? Aren't the straps more appealing? and also more comfortable? also more safe for the feet?

most like the heel sandal slides for convenience. the strap heel sandals seem to be safer. as for appealing/comfort that would be up to the individual.

Depends on what I'm wearing. Some slide in sandals don't look right with certain dresses. So the ankle strap sandals would look better.

Heel sandal slides are much more comfortable and I find that platform sandals with wider bottom rather than pointy heels are safer.

Slides are most comfortable to me. The only dangerous is climbing steep hills but if I would do that I would wear climbing boots. If you have any problem with edema, it is not attractive to have your ankles hanging over the straps.

I like slip on sandals. I hardly ever wear strap sandals.

slides are funner to me. but I do like espadrilles. it depends on the ankle strap. some are ugly to me. some are cuter. it all depends on the shoe, how it looks on my foot, and my mood. and frankly, when I wear heels, I couldn't care less about how safe me feet are. lol

I prefer slip ons because they come in all kinds of styles, including my favorite, the wedged sandal!

i do not like straps on my sandals because they are constricting,i like a pair of wedged heeled sandals,slip on slip off.

I like them all but my feet, ankles, and legs tire easily from extended wear. So only occasionally do I don the high-heels.
