Statistics can be used to support any theory when properly manipulated. That being said, the day it becomes popular knowledge that Bush was the mastermind behind 9/11 is the day I
check myself into the nearest mental hospital. What safer place
to be when it's the world that's gone nuts?

This would be no surprise, given the arrogance of the Bush administration and their need to "be the story all the time". Bush needed an excuse to go back into Iraq (after his father's failure) and what better way than by striking the largest symbol of America's wealth - the World Trade Center. What an opportunity to show Bush as a leader in a crisis! Except, where was he when he received the news? The look on his face had a felling of smugness - not shock or surprise or anger - just a little head nod of smugness. Due to this action he got the support he needed to become dictator and destroy the Constitution, with most Americans sittingon their thumbs and taking no action.
This action only set the tone for the Bush presidency: arrogance, apathy and ignorance. He had to defend his oil buddies so let's invade Iraq. Katrina and Rita disasters? No oil, so let's ignore the poor folks in the South.

I watched some of the video and I have a question for you ... if this video tells the truth, then where are the people that were on those 4 flights? If they weren't commercial air crafts that hit the WTC, the Pentagon or the ground in PA where are those passengers? How do you account for the phone calls placed by those on board to their loved ones? After an event such as 9/11 you will find all sorts of conspiracy theories and people twisting the truth, as well as creating their own version of events. Our government is guilty of many things, not this!!

I have always believed that if they did not caused it, they allowed it to happen. Bush did not win the popular vote that year. He was looking forward to a dim presidency full of failure and as insignificant as him. What is sad about this whole situation is that he won again! Don't we ever learn from our mistakes?!
For a long time to question the source of this tragedy was to become a target. I could never say what I really thought or felt about this issue at work. And I work in a school!! A place where we are responsible to teach young minds to think and question. No, I never read anything of this in the internet. This is my own mind, my own observations of the events that took place that day - and have been taking place since.
Let's think about this fairly for one moment: It is true that all governments have some amount of corruption. Let's examine the TYPE of corruption in which the Democrats have been involved over the years: Mostly sex scandals. Now, let's take a look at the TYPE of issues that sorround Republicans: Wars, Drugs, Death and Disapperances, loss of Civil Rights. I don't know about the rest of you, as for me, I prefer a little sex scandal to the death of many a young man. Especially if it involves a war that has nothing to do with what happened on that dreadful day. By the way, that day will be etched in my mind forever because I lost friends in that attack. Not to mention in the war that this enane government started after, using this tragedy as an excuse!!!
Conspiracy Theories? Tell that to the mother who has lost her child, to the child who has lost his/her parent, to the student who has lost a good teacher, and to the communities who have lost some of their best members!!! Every day a young life is lost far away from home. What a waste, don't you think?
Bottom line: We are not benefiting from this war. In fact, no one has! Things in Iran are worse than ever. Everyone their lives in constant fear and bullets fly on the streets as a daily occurence. I'm not sure that this is any way to live. Do you?
This war has opened Pandora's Box, and closed down our borders to our neighbors. It has made us suspicious of each other. Now, paranoia is the soup of the day and we are at war with the rest of the world. But should we be scared of "foreigners" or our own? I'm not so sure anymore... Scary, isn't it!

Would our leaders conduct such an event? Think of how the building fell almost straight down like they bring down building in Las Vegas. Jet fuel burns at 2,000 degrees F steel melts at 3000 degrees. Most of the jet fuel was on the outside of the building. Would the military or CIA plan such an event to future a weaking economy, drive up oil prices make money for contractors and justifly evansions in other countries. You Bet

It would not surprise me. I saw the pentagon video. That was not a 757, I used to cater them. It was something much smaller. And where was the debris from the fuselage? Bush was so intent on getting Saddam. His daddy has connections in the CIA, and there was a plot to kill him.
Yes, the US government would kill their own citizens to push their agenda. I believe more Native Americans were killed in the 19th century than Jewish people in WWII. No big outcry about that though.
Thomas Jefferson was right. There should be a revolution every 20 years.

it is hard to believe for people, that they have been manipulated, in such a horrible way. it is a known and actually old way to get people united, of any society, culture, religion or nation. they need a mutual enemy. When u are in the mass (is proved, sciences), ur IQ worth sinks up to the half. The instinct of staying alive sinks also rapidly. Means, u get dumb and ready to die... for something u haven't thought trough even.
after being so far, there is just a need of a leader, who's giving to the people the feeling of being one of them. His own abilities are unimportant, he has to do what is said, in this case means to make this enemy responsible in some way, for all the evil things of life. then any way is open... people are so far to believe whatever u give them. they are probably frustrated, not satisfied with them self, their life, their family, job... so it is a welcome change, to put all Ur anger and attention somewhere far away. The dumb one searches always for someone who is guilty.
in this way, all the wars were started, believe me. Remember Pearl Harbor, it was known and expected attack from Japan. But it was also a welcome Attack, that would give the president the right, and support from the voters to start a war. And a war is always welcome, to make profit.
If u want to know the backrounds of the politics, study economic... it will give you the answer. Why, who, and what is their next step. Our politicians are not working for us, they are working for them self. It is naiv to believe the goverment, and hard to realize, that u've been such a blind fool, to believe them. And now blood of thausands and even millions of people is also on ur dumb hands...

Education is important for us to be able to distinguish facts from opinions. I've learned in the past 2 years details about 9/11, and the U.S. Government didn't conduct the events of that fateful day. I studied in detail the events leading up to that day and it's unfortunate the government wouldn't listen to people who knew what was going to happen, and some of the people who "knew too much," were working in our government, but the people in "charge," wouldn't believe them. Only after 9/11 occurred, did the government then listen to the "people who knew," and one of them was killed in the Twin Towers. I believe that today our government is taking the individuals seriously and using what they find out as accurate information to determine our liklihood to be facing further violence from foreign countries.

I'd say it's typical. I really don't put anything past governments. Once a person or group of people taste that much power, they'll do anything to keep from having to relinquish it. I don't care if you live in a democracy or dictatorship, no one is going to surrender what power they have willingly. That's why the President of the United states is NOT the most powerful man in the world. He is merely a puppet in some regards.

I would say that I'm not surprised. I believe that our government does a great many things behind the scenes and of which the American public has no knowledge. If in fact the government was behind the 9/11 attacks, it's truly despicable.
