Terry Wogan has a daily radio show on Radio 2 and still is famous for his commentary contributions on the Eurovision song contest... to my knowlege he has done nothing on football.

do you mean terry wogan? he's a radio dj, bbc radio 2. and he also presents a chatshow on UKTV gold and presents the Eurovision coverage each year. That can't be who you mean,
