Looking for some e-newsletter that recommend good stocks. Not looking for marketers who are paid to promote individual stocks (these people say BUY BUY BUY even when the stock is going down)

I do subscribe to Steven J Kaplan's newsletter. He will not generally recommend individual shares but his articles are good enough for us to pick good stocks and it is the best price for the value of service.

Hi Newsletters with stock suggestions, are usually just opinions, which should be verified with the facts. I would reccomend American Assosiation of Individual investors to get plenty of ideas and use Investors Business Daily to stay up to date on market conditions, and their non opinionated stock lists that rank on fundamentals and technical factors. You could also try investment clubs where ideas come from the community that you can get to know the people you are working with abount different investment ideas.

If you're looking for a hot tip; NONE OF THEM. They are all old news. Our markets are almost completley efficient. Meaning the hot news is already incorporated into the price.
The two most reputable sources are newspapers: The Wall St. Journal and Investor's Business Daily.
