OK so like I'm 13. I weigh 110 lbs and im 5'3-4". I want to like muscle up for a part in a play that I'm in. If I eat about 2,500-3,000 calories a day, do cardio-yoga-abs workouts for like 1.5 hours every day, then how long will it take til I see real results or even just a little?

hmm, there is alot of speculation about what age is better to start weight training at, the general consensis is that it is all good and fine to start when ever, but don't load up on weight too early in life. Going by your weight and height and also age, if i was you i would work out what i want, your example routine above is a plan to fail.

if you are looking to bulk up at any part in life than yes ~3000cal is a good point to be at, although im sure you understand this is still a bananced diet (of sorts) alot of protien, very little fats etc, so 3000 of processed food for example a majority of fast foods or cheese is not a good idea.

if you are going to cut (reducing the body fat on yourself) you will need to eat well, all the good stuff, and no where near ~3000cal. and yes plenty of cardio.

The thing to note here is these are 2 different stages.. bulk and cut.

If i was you i would do a couple things which i wish i had have done at your age, play alot of sport, even if it is just with friends, i did; dictating a good metabolism at a young age is a good headstart for later in life.

Take up Gymnastics or Just stretch alot, seriously if you can do the splits by the time you're 16 then you're the man.

If you really want to lift weights dont go too heavy, most people bulking will run 6 reps for 3 sets (thats 6 lifts in a row, once, than have a 30sec-1min break, go for the 2nd set.. break then 3rd set) however i would be lifing a lighter weight for longer if i was you. if you can get 12 or 16 reps and you dont feel like your arms will fault (give out) i would say you are doing a decent effort. There is the idea that lifting too heavy at a young age while still growing can cause muscles do develop 'wrong' along with bones.

so if you do a lighter weight for more reps your arms will train to lift that after a while, and if you stretch alot your muscles will be very flexable.

as for eating you want to try rice and chicken for dinner, less fats and sugars, but hell your young, for now enjoy your self. just make sure you keep active.

hope this helps, if you really want to get into training have a read of the site below. Just seriously remember not to take it too hard, not at the age of 13, because if there is a risk of muscle formation issues as you grow it is not worth taking.

i nearly forgot... the body takes at least 3 weeks to notice changes like this, you wont notice them till like 5-9 weeks. seriously 9 weeks of playing tennis 3 times a week will cut your arms up. (not grow, but muscle defination looks cool)

Goodluck!

You're going to need 9 to 12 weeks. And "cardio-yoga-abs" won't do it. You MUST do weight training. And the diet is important - it's important to get the right amount of calories, but to bulk up, you MUST eat the right proportions of fat, carbs, and protein. The proper mix of diet and weight training will stimulate testosterone production, which will lead to the gains you want. There is no shortcut. I suggest this book:

"The Testosterone Advantage Plan," by Lou Schuler, et al.

You can see it on amazon:

it can take weeks, but it depends on your body type. if you are naturally very skinny and more wirey than muscle it may never happen. My husband is very skinny and he does heavy work all the time, but still has very little muscle showing because of his body type.

It all depends on your metabolism. Some people muscle very easy. Some people don't.
