Disk Cleanup only handles general categories that are likely to be throw away. Start Disk Cleanup and you will see a list of possibilities, along with a measure of how much hard drive space would be freed up. It only takes a few minutes.

Your pics, music, and documents are considered your personal files, and only you can decide which to delete. This takes time to decide which to delete. Pics and music are large files, so it may be worth you time to get rid of old ones. Suggestion: just work on it 10 minutes a day. In a couple of weeks, you will have freed up lots of space!

Program are also considered your personal decision as to which to uninstall. But most of these are large files, so it might be worth your time to also uninstall any that you don't use.

After you have cleaned up your general and personal files, you should run the Disk Defragmenter. This will consolidate all the space you have freed up, and place your often used files closer together for better performance. Defragging can take an hour or more, depending on the size of your hard drive, and your system speed.

I cleans up how they are filed, and makes it faster and easier to access them. \\

It will not make your dirty pictures clean, nor will it take bad language out of your music, if that is what you mean.

You better set up the configuration
before execute 'clean up' if you use
the extra software(s) instead of the
ordinary features in your operating
system.
